Creative Research undertook a one- off evaluation to assess the impact that the Arts Council's Own Art scheme has had on artists since its launch in 2004. From our initial approach to Creative Research right the way through to the completion of the piece of work, they displayed a sympathetic understanding of the subject, sound knowledge of the visual arts sector, a real enthusiasm to undertake the work in the best possible way and critical attention to detail. Part of the work involved gathering qualitative information through telephone interviews with the artists. It was important that these interviews were conducted in a friendly and approachable manner. Creative Research were sensitive to our needs and delivered an expert service. They showed real commitment to the job in hand and were a pleasure to work with and learn from. We were enormously pleased with the work they achieved for us and can't recommend them highly enough.
